Should Your Child Stay Home? We want them at #SchoolEveryday!

The following message is from Alan Bone, Director of Student Services with Westside Community Schools.
Students who miss fewer than two days of school before October tend to have good attendance for the remainder of the year. And students with good attendance are more likely to keep up with their peers in both reading and math. One of the best things parents can do to help their children succeed is to make sure they get to school every day.
August and September have been set aside for Attendance Awareness activities. Students with fewer than two absences during this period will have the opportunity for recognition and rewards. Please help your child be at #SchoolEveryday to be part of the fun!
